Lasciare la Thailandia è stato difficile. Davvero difficile. Non era previsto dover lasciare tutto alle spalle e questo passo ci è costato molta forza.
Ma a volte ci si rende conto, solo arrivando altrove, che qualcosa manca e che la vita è diventata troppo complicata.
In Sicilia ci sentiamo accolti. Questo ci tocca profondamente, soprattutto perché per alcuni di noi questa terra è da tempo una casa nel cuore.

LumaTruePath Sizilien soll ein Ort werden, an dem Menschen im Autismus-Spektrum ein selbstbestimmtes, sicheres und erfülltes Leben führen können.
Wohnen ist ein Grundbedürfnis und ein Menschenrecht.
Für uns bedeutet Wohnen mehr als Unterkunft – es ist ein geschützter Raum, in dem Rückzug, Ruhe und Regeneration ebenso möglich sind wie Gemeinschaft, Teilhabe und persönliche Entwicklung.
Viele Menschen im Autismus-Spektrum haben im Laufe ihres Lebens belastende oder traumatische Erfahrungen gemacht – durch Anpassungsdruck, ungeeignete pädagogische Ansätze, fehlendes Verständnis oder Überforderung.
Diese Erfahrungen hinterlassen Spuren.
